2024 Season

Workshops - In 2024 we debuted our first series of workshops. These included various themes and were open to dancers of all experience levels. We want to thank Crescent Moon Gifts, the Liberation Collective and the Tacoma Public Library and the Tacoma Art Commission for helping us make these happen.

June & July - In the early summer months we premiered a short piece inspired by Fairies. This piece was performed at Dragonvein Studios’ Annual Midsummer Show and at Tacoma Pride.

August - We premiered our film Blood in the Grove in late summer of 2024. This piece was heavily inspired by the 1518 French Dancing Plague and the 1948 film The Red Shoes. We would like to thank Tacoma Creates for helping support this project.

September - We adapted our 2023 work Jumping Jacks for an outdoor audience in September of 2024. This new version added material and adapted to a trio of dancers. This work was performed outside at the Seattle Center. We would like to thank the Seattle Coalition for Arts and Culture and the Seattle Center for helping us produce this work.

October - Our third annual Halloween Show was titled Spector Spectacular. This show explored ghosts in various folkloric and pop culture iterations. It was performed at Crescent Moon Gifts. We would like to thank Tacoma Creates for helping support this production.

November - We were so happy to host our second annual Yuletide fundraiser. This event included hands on activities such as zine and button making hosted by staff members as well as a silent auction. The auction included original art from local artists and several of our board members. We would like to thank Red Elm Cafe for their generosity as our host location.
