Sophie Marie ~ Artistic Director

Sophie Marie is a queer dance artist from Tacoma, WA. Sophie has a degree in Neuroscience and Dance from Bennington College. Sophie’s work focuses on embodiment, folklore and horror. As an avid lover of fairy tales and horror movies, Sophie seeks to create new and weird worlds with her work. They are inspired by nature, myth and monsters.

Otto Schatz ~ Composer & Sound Technician

Otto Schatz has been passionate about music for as long as they can remember. Born in Brooklyn, their father was instrumental in providing a diverse palette of genres and styles to listen to at an early age that instilled a desire to explore that drives them to this day. They explored basic guitar playing during the tail end of high school, but once they took a Recording & Mixing Music class at Bennington College, Otto was hooked into the world of production completely. Being directly influenced by Extreme Metal, Industrial Noise, Ambient and Electronic Music, Otto used that production experience to focus on a workflow involving audio manipulation to actualize their creative voice to explore darker, and sometimes ethereal, soundscapes. Otto has worked doing original compositions and sound design, they have worked doing short films, dance, theater, podcasts, and a video game next to production work for other musicians and their own compositions.

Cian Gamden ~ Lighting Designer & Technician

Cian is a lighting designer with extensive experience in dance production. They have lit the annual Nightmare on Yelm Street and most recently their work was seen in Das Biest’s The Goddess and the Spider.
